Enrollment & Program Expectations

At Colibri Bilingual Catholic Academy, we are pleased to offer year‑round enrollment for families seeking a faith‑centered and bilingual homeschooling experience.

Parents or legal guardians remain responsible for teaching and supervising their child’s academic progress. To ensure compliance and accurate record‑keeping, Colibri Bilingual Catholic Academy requires families to maintain weekly email communication. Parents must keep us updated on daily attendance, bimonthly student work samples, and monthly grading (applicable for grades 8–12).

We provide guidance and suggestions to help families meet these requirements. Each family receives one complimentary hour of curriculum consultation per month; additional consultation time is available for an hourly fee.

While we guide families in understanding state expectations by grade level, we do not impose academic requirements, nor do we provide materials or curricula. Families are free to choose the educational style and resources that best meet their needs. The founder, a certified Montessori Directress, offers separate educational services through Bee Montessori (Home | Bee Montessori).

High School Graduation Requirements

To be eligible for graduation, students must be enrolled with Colibri Bilingual Catholic Academy for four years, or provide approved transcripts for years completed elsewhere. Students must be enrolled with us for at least the 12th‑grade year.

A Graduation Project is required. Colibri Bilingual Catholic Academy provides suggested themes; however, students may propose a customized project based on their interests. Custom projects must be approved prior to 12th‑grade enrollment and completed at least six months before the graduation date. Projects may be submitted in English or Spanish.

The Graduation Project must demonstrate mastery across core learning areas, including language arts, mathematics, history, science, religion, and any additional subjects relevant to the student’s chosen theme.

Once a project is approved, all associated fees must be paid before the graduation process begins.

Extracurricular Activities

When available, extracurricular activities will include information regarding any participation fees. Offerings may include prayer groups, Bible study, devotionals, sports, park days, social gatherings, and more.

Additional Policies

  • Students are considered new students after being unenrolled for one full school year.

  • Annual fees are non‑refundable.

  • Fees cover email correspondence and/or regular mail. Families may choose to pay for expedited mailing services.

  • After reviewing all terms and conditions, families must sign an agreement to be included in the enrollment package.
